I anticipate that the tranny work will be covered by warranty, and should that be the case then the dealership gets to pocket the Mercon SP that they would normally use to refill the tranny.
I figured I'm covered by the warranty becasue:
Every couple months the tranny would go stupid and set codes and I'd promptly stop in at the dealership and have them read the codes and make a service entry.
So my problem date should be effective with the first instance and not today's mileage / date.
One the third bout they decided my tranny needs that part replaced.
At the least, it'll cost me the replacement of the AMS Oil ATF Universal in that two-gallon (over stock) deep pan.
But then again its been about ten months and I was planning on just draining the pan once a year anyways and so I budgeted for it.
The vibration and leakage, arose from hitting a road obstacle.
