I left work in East haven at 3:00 to drive home and take a shower. Route 17 was flooded and water was splashing up above the cab of the SD when I had to drive in the water.
Then I had to go to Cheshire and the storm caught up to me again.
It was pretty brutal, but it made me laugh to see all the wusses pulled over. The ones that make me laugh are the ones in cars who pull over under an overpass. The car doesn't know if it's getting wet or not! It doesn't make a difference.

Hi PeteI suspect that those who pull over beneath an overpass do so so that they can finally 'see' out their windows and can now settle down as the drumming of the rain on their roof is stopped.
