I take it that it really didn't "break off" else I would think your tranny would have pumped itself out?
Glad you found the leak before it found you stranded.
Somehow, it didn't break off all the way. It was an AN type fitting and the threads (aluminum to steel) striped. While trying to take it appart it broke off. In the end I used an easy-out and some heat to get it appart. Would you know it, the steel threads appeared rolled. How does aluminum do that to steel??? The new cooler has a push on barb for the hoses.
