Afternoon all, Matt I'll try to liven up the thread.
I put diesel in the F350 yesterday for $2.83 a gallon. Used $35 and didn't even fill the forward tank.
Noticed another small oil leak dripping from the torque converter pan. That could be high pressure oil resevoir, the HP oil pump, any of the HP oil lines, the fuel filter, the fuel pump O rings, the turbo oil O rings and of course the rear main seal. All that mess (except rear main seal) collects in the "lifter galley" and exits through a drain hole in the back of the "International Diesel Engine" into the torque converter area. I spent a week working on the front of the engine for this oil leak and actually stopped it for a while. Then one of the High Pressure oil rails in the driver's side head, the plug started leaking. I stopped that one with a redesigned new plug and teflon O ring from Ford. Now another leak. I really hate the thought of pulling the mechanical fuel pump and/or the turbo. Wah!
afternoon all. im off to the racetrack.but, before I go, hey Dave and everybody else who saw AMTRAK maintaince equipment, I found the motherload today near the Old Saybrook/Westbrook line:

hey Dave and all else who were helping me with the track maintaince equipment hunt, look what I caught!!!!!
the first one acts like a broom almost, and grooms the ballast a certian way, and the second one shoves ballast under the ties. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNyJz...eature=channel
Rich, we were sneakily shooting through a fence on a bridge over the right-of-way lol.
