trans sensor

the high out out trans sensor is out. soes anyone know if this is an easy fix or should i just take it in and what can i expect to pay for such a job?

What year truck and what tranny? If you're referring to the OSS sensor, it's just held on by one bolt on the outside of the tranny. Unplug, remove bolt, and change.

yes very easy swap, think it cost $65...

2005 f250 6.0

sorry guys. high out put sensor is all im told and apprarently their saying they ve got to drop the pan to do it. 2005 F250 6.0 diesel

Inside the pan are seven solenoids and one temperature sensor. I've never heard of a high out put sensor.

seven sensors are actually one unit and is it really a pain in the but to get to. just tring to save some money, I'm not stupid just not very familar with a trans Thanks for your help
