I have my trans out for rebuild and noticed that the sensors (front and back of trans) are the same.
Is this right? I have replaced both in the past (chasing hints of a slowly dying trans) and I thought they were different. If they are the same, no problem. If they are supposed to be different, I need to sort it out before I put the trans back in.

OK. Thanks.
I just got the trans back in the truck. It had been running for some time that way so I guess it is OK. As long as it doesn't slip with a load behind it I should be set.
i checked mine out the other day and the parts guy at the local dealer told me on was longer that the other, not sure though. i have never seen on pulled out before, just a heads up, not a lot of experience with them.
