Steering Box Issues
So I have has my new screw for 2 weeks and I just found out that the dealer has to put in a new steering box. The parts are at least 10 days away.

When you turn to the right you don't get power steering, the service person said there is a gear that needs to be replaced.

ouch...but it sounds like a fluke.


best of luck getting it back on the road ASAP....they giving you a rental?

no I have an 08 superduty as well so no big deal about a rental.

The rental normally comes with the purchase of the ESP.

I guess I'm going to sound a little stupid here, but I take it that the F-150's don't have rack and pinion steering. The Expedition have it.

Yes, they do have rack and pinion.
