I did this test two weeks ago but was busy so i,m posting it up now that I got the chance. Was poking along on here and Joe (Izzy351) had done this and I figured I never seen them posted here, thanks Joe. The test was just like Joe said, with the key off, push the trip button in and hold for about 30 seconds, then still holding the button, turn the key to the start position but don't crank it, then you can scrool thru and see the codes and such. I know it works on my 03, I think you can do it from 02-03 if I remember correctly, here we go, these were on my truck.>> Check bulbs and dash lights, the whole dash lit up. Pick it apart if you can and try it out on your truck.

Reason: 02-03 edit, thanks Joe
Where does it display those codes? How do you translate them? Is the a list of what those mean? Sorry about all the questions. That is pretty coo if it will work on mine also. Thanks Mike and Joe!

There is a listing on the main page of FTE with links to all the codes.
It doesn't work on the older trucks because of the analog odo as mentioned... This is an 02/03 thing only, unfortunately. You need a cluster like this:
Thanks Joe, just edited it in my post so not to confuse. Jason, I brought a small piece of paper but had to go in and get more, alot of codes..Adam, try it, you should get something..
I,m assuming from that 233* temp of the oil, the PCM read that as the last highest temp. I,m trying to pick some of it apart, I do run the 203* stat and normally running highway speeds so that sounds about right.
