superchips cortex mistake
I know, I know... In a brief moment of weakness I let a local diesel shop sell me one. They gave a 30 day no questions asked warranty on there product, and believe me I will be returning it. The power is not there. I installed the performance setting right there in there parking lot, and when I left I could fell very little if any difference. It wouldn't even raise the egt's beyond 1000. Granted, after about 20 to 30 miles I could feel a little. But not enough to warrant a $380 price tag (on sale mind you). I explained to him that I just purchased the truck and that I have read (from these forums) that Banks is not the way to go. He insisted on the Cortex. I think I will plug the ottmind back in.

I realize this now, but, I am leaving for work in the Chicago area in two weeks. I was hoping to get a little better mpgs and hp pulling my 15,000lb fifth wheel.
I guess I will have to wait until after I get there.

Thanks for the help. I know from reading on this site that this is the way to go. This site is by far the most helpful of any I have found. I wish I was as informed as half the people on this site. I might know something about my psd then.
