decoding axle?

decoding axle?
Howdy-
I've got a 1989 F-150, 300 I6, and the 5 speed tranny. Rear gears, etc. are shot....found this out after two weeks in the shop. Got it back, and now there's a leak coming from the rear of the driveshaft, by the rear u-joint.
What i really need help on is decoding the damned axle. I can't find any tags anywhere on it, metal or otherwise. All i have is the axle code from the door tag '18', and this series of numbers from the front of the rear axle housing- E7TW-4026-8A
Any help figuring out is appreciated...im kinda new at this!!
