Neutral safety switch adjust?

I'm finally hooking up the B&M (Quicksilver) safety switch on my 51F1's C-4 transmission. I think I have it wired right, but it still seems "hot" in every gear. B&M instruction sheet says adjust as needed. How? Kinda afraid to bend the little metal piece that fits in the shifter's grooves, corresponding to gear positions. But I don't see any other way to adjust?
Suggestions and experience welcomed here.
The truck is going to a new home in a Missouri vineyard, and I thought, after 20 years, maybe it should actually have a neutral safety switch. The switches sit in a stack in the shifter, safety switch is the low one, backup lights is the top one.
Thanks from soon-to-be-Ford-truckless Gene in Sacramento.
Is there a support group for us? Or should I dicker for an annual wine shipment?

Duhh. Overlooked the obvious, got it working OK now. Adjustment is in the front mounting hole (oval). Gene
