What is it?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Mar-02 AT 06:17 PM (EST)]I have a 1970 F250 with a 460 and a four speed. The truck has the divorced transfer case. I would like to know what make the transmission is! Reverse is over to the right and up. I have been told its a Borg Warner and a New Process! Does anyone know what it may be? Its the original that came with the truck!

What is it?
It's either a NP435 or a BW T18. They look really similar, but if you find a case casting number 1301 then it's a T18. Also the T18 has a cast iron shift tower, whereas the NP435 has an aluminum one. If you can get to it, see if a magnet sticks to the shift tower. Hope that helps some.
