Column Shift?

Column shift fits my style of driving. Having lower back issues causes me to shift around a bit when making any trip over an hour. If the cruise is set, having the right foot on the center hump is one of those "comfortable" positions. Can't get there with a center console. I also have utilized the secondary storage area under the center third seat for mounting aftermarket electronics. It's in keeping with my desire to keep the truck looking completely factory (DQL-8 remote and IPOD Mount).

I have a column shift 2009 XLT.
I wanted a Lariat, but non on the lot with column shift.
You can certainly order one, but I did not want to wait.
I like the XLT and prefer cloth seats...so I am happy.
The seats are power. really two buckets with a flip down center seat/console combo.
The centre shift IS nice, but I like the floor space of the column shift and my schnauzer likes to sit beside me.
