Bill, you are my hero !!!

Your tips were spot on and I got both the mouldings I need!!!

Prices were VERY civil for original parts, 39.- for the RH and 85.- for the left hand... Shipping is about a 100 bucks each due to the size, but still, I'm happy to have gotten the trim!!! My truck will look soo awesome! It's coming out of paint next week and will all the trim it will look like new
How did you look the part numbers up? The very last piece I am missing is the molding, cab corner (the trim that goes under the rear cab window) and again I am wondering if I need a specific and rare one for the supercab model !!

See my signature. I have the parts catalogs, the ability to search the FoMoCo dealers parts locator website, and another website the obsolete parts vendors are listed on.

I can't believe shipping was $100 for each of those trim pieces. Yes, I know they are large, but light as a feather.

I was able to score some racetrack pieces for my reg cab, but they are not perfect. I just needed pieces in order to get all my holes drilled in order to mount them. Once I get everything mounted, then I'll have to get piece by piece. Some pieces I have are pretty good though and I may not need all of them. But I do need the lower track bed pieces that you got. I'm just kinda holding out a bit to find used, nice and cheaper if that is even possible.

The shipping may seem excessive, but the price the OP paid for the Race Track (R/T) mouldings was, IMO...a STEAL!

The right quarter panel moulding, D7TZ9929038DA is an oddball. It was only used on trucks with the tool compartment.

The tool comparment has a separate moulding on it. The R/T moulding only butts up to the tool box then continues along the quarter panel.

To buy a rare NOS right side D7TZ9929038DA moulding today for only 39 bucks is amazing. That was prolly the ORIGINAL list price.

Excessive shipping charges, or not?

When Ford shipped these long mouldings to the dealers, they taped two pieces of wood to the package to prevent the moulding from getting bent.

When the mouldings arrived, the wood was removed, because the mouldings would not fit into the moulding racks with it.

If wood was added to the mouldings to ship them to the OP, the price, considering the time and effort to do this, IMO...isn't that excessive.

Then there's this: If the mouldings are oversized by UPS standards (and I believe they are)...the price goes waaay up.
