Toploader to replace C-6 on 460
Could a Toploader 4-speed standard replace a C-6 auto on a 77 Ford truck with a 460??? I was wondering and does anybody make a kit or instructions for this swap?

Yes this is a easy swap get a bellhousing from a 351m/400/460
find a 73 to 79 with a stick to get the pedal and linkage from
dont forget to put in a pilot bearing.The top loaber is a good choice.
may haft to alter drive shaft lenght.

Toploader to replace C-6 on 460
Adding to what Larry said...you'll also need the manual flywheel and the big-block top loader. The input shaft for the big-block is larger in diameter and only comes in a close ratio. The small block top-loaders were available in close and wide ratios. Deen
