There are a couple of ratio sets in these. 2nd to 3rd is always a gap.
Info here on what came in what. But it sounds like these were OEM trans in these trucks?

Ratios will be somewhere around 2.9 : 1, 1.9 :1 and 3rd is direct 1:1.
What are you trying to figure out, other than you have a 3 speed?

thanks for the answer and sorry for my english, i am from argentina, this gearbox is a 3 speed, thanks again for the page, but this trans is not in the list maybe.. because... Is this a truck trans?
the code is HEF AU 038932
this gearbox has nine bolts in the inspection lid, like the all trans toploaders.
