The easy ones arent very rewarding, I need to do a clutch job on the Ranger and get going on the Bronco II project.............Only thing missing is $$$!

I'm accomplishing substantial amounts on the Big Job, and my available cash numbers have a negative sign behind them. I don't see the problem. Sounds like you folks need get on down to the local General Store and buy you some gumption, ot some sticktoitiveness. They excuses are like @$$ holes, everyones got one. Ahhhh just razzing ya. i understand the lack of funds. Been digging through my change piles when I need something small for the truck. Not gonna be able to get them 5" dia. 9' long chrome stacks I want for it anytime soon. I am thinking about hitting up alocal truck shop though, as they have a huge pile of take offs laying out back, and the way I was taught is that it's better to make some money now then hold out for the possibility thet there will be no money later. See if the old money talks bs walks addage will work with them.

joe have you heard of freightliner surplus parts? theres one here in portland and one in brookings. they would have your chrome stacks alot cheaper. i have dealt with those boys when i had my truck shop in portland for werner. you could buy and build a truck out of that place.

I'll check it out. BTW, you all have to watch Power Block TV (the Sunday show that has "Trucks" "Horse Power TV" etc) in August. I'll get the date for sure from the producer, but I just talked with him on the phone, and he is going to use an approx. 30 second block to show my truck to the rest of the world. ...I'm kinda of excided (getting giddy like a teen girl talking about a boy).....my trucks gonna be on tv, my trucks gonna be on tv....neener neener....just kidding, but it is going to be aired. He wants me to go ahead and send him a disk with my 122 pictures of it throughout the build, so they have it ready for the July 7th shooting (apparently, they shoot about a month before the show is ready to go on air. It's gonna be cool....Courtney Hansens gonna talk about my truck....She's hot

Freightliner Brooks Surplus outlet is closed. I don't know if the one in Portland is still open. When Freightliner Corp. sold the dealership things started to change, and now with the closing of the Portland factory, we can expect to see the surplus parts outlet move to Mexico, or wherever.
I used to get a lot of neat stuff there, and for cheap!
