It's sunny outside, going to be in the 80's. I'm outside and working on my Uni, brake work is the order of the day. I found the right rear wheel cylinder bleeding down the inside of my tire after trying to get it bled. I got that one replaced but figured better replace the other side as well and adjust the parking brake while I'm at it. Hope you all can enjoy the weather while it lasts.

Yes! it is a 4412!........I remember, I was going to trade it for a 350cfm Holley 2bbl but could not find one. The 500cfm was WAY too big for my rebuilt 2.8v6 in my Ranger so I rat holed and forgot about it.

Love those 2bbl Holleys, just like a 2100/2150 motorcraft but with Holley primaries. Drop on just about anything Ford that had a 2bbl to begin with.

Jack, If you or anyone else come across a 350cfm 2bbl holley, pick it up!.......I will gladly buy it from you!...............I believe some AMC/JEEP products came with the Autolite/motorcraft 2100/2150 2bbls stock back in the 60s and 70s.

i'll keep my eyes open for one. the 4412 is better but you have to turn the carb down alittle. they are pretty versital tho. and a nice looking carb too.

Thanks, Jack!!.............Hard to find those 350cfm holleys, 500cfm just floods a poor little 2.8 Ford v6!

i may be able to get a new one if thats better for ya? and you can put smaller jets in that carb as well and adjust the float too!!! so it won't flood! and adjust the air/fuel mix for the engine not the carb! that carb doesn't care how much gas you run thru it its the air flow! that 500 cfm holley may make that 2.8l v6 come to life!!! if you do it right!

Sorry, Jack!...........I cant handle a new one right now, I am doing everything on the cheap. I would take a $25.00 basket case and rebuild it and be perfectly happy!....I might be able to use the 4412 500cfm if I had a cam, ported heads and headers, but in stockish form it can only pull 272cfm full volumetric efficiency, so even a 350cfm is kinda overkill on a 2.8 v6..........Gotta love those old Rangers though, they take a beating and keep coming back for more.

Weather's been pretty fair here in Madras. Been using it to my advantage and working on the Big Job. I did, however, have to take a break today and go to the hospital. Seems that for whatever reason, my left arm decided to go numb and weak all of a sudden. They asked the routine questions, and had a bit of a concern when I said yes to a surgery. That inquired, and I told them about the tumor removed from my right clavical region. So, they did a head CT...came back clean (figured 31 was too young for a stroke anyway). They did some checking and looking. Arms still messed. On the way to the hospital, I ran over a bolt in the road, and blew one of my brand new dually tires. Doc sent me home with an unknown diagnoses, but says if it aint normal by morning, they want me back for an MRI. The are getting my records from the surgery I had too. I left Portland before knowing what the tumor was. Should know tomorrow though whether or not it was cancerous or not. Doc back then was concerned about Hodgkins Disease. Wish me luck guys. Hopefully it'll all be gone (and not in the meeting my maker way) by morning. Wierd last few weeks though. Right shoulder area been sore like sore muscles. Found a wierd sore spot in my left rib cage like someone punched my in the side, but no bruises (wifes been beating me up again in my sleep, oh no, she works grave yard). Oh well, it'll get figured out.
