Hey guys has anyone ever heard of a product called cermax ? It's some sort of ceramic stuff that you dump in your engine oil and a couple of my friends are using it. They say it has improved fuel mileage 2-3 mpg's. What do you guys know about it? Any input is valued.
Just my take..... but the first place this stuff would go would be thru the filter!!!! I just dont see the value, some of those "additives" have bleach in them which is a great lubricant but comes with a whole new batch of problems!!!! Snake Oil IMHO
Yeah I don't believe there is anything chemical wise that you can add to an engine that will improve mileage. I bet a new air filter would help more then that stuff would. But what would help more then anything is the driving style. Which I am having a hard time fixing, I have a lead foot. I blame the exhaust.
