tie rod ends

tie rod ends

well the last parts i need for my sas swap is the tie rod ends, and they want 200 each and there is 4 on the dana 60. Can i use the steering from my dana 50 for the time being? i really dont want to spend 800$ on tie rod ends, is it this expensive in other places (i am in northern British Columbia) so will my steering from my dana 50 work for the time being? both axles are from 1994 trucks.

If this is a dana 60 swap hog the arms out so you can use one ton chevy tres. Way way cheaper and its what most everybody does anyways.

If you use the chebby TRE's you will have to change the tapper on the the steering arms / knuckle and pitman arm and such.
There is no way that these ends should be 200 bucks each.




This is a left hand thread 2027L and it was about 40 bucks:

i didnt realize you cant press them out, i only had to buy the drag link, which was only 80$ thanks to company discount. Very expensive up here compared to online though
