A few years ago, I inherited a Husky 26 gallon air compressor. The pressure switch recently failed, and I want to replace it. Given that the original failed before I think it should have, and that Husky's reputation for quality isn't sterling, I'm considering alternative makes.
$98? Wow. Well, I did say that I wanted something higher quality. But...am I guilty of trying to polish a turd by putting a switch like that on a Husky compressor?
This switch will last you forever and you have the added bonus of being able to pass it along to your grandkids. LOL
There is available a grainger part number "2FG79" @ $30.00. It will not become part of your estate though.LOL

Reason: Spell Check
Ford_six, I think he is saying his switch is sitting on an integral manifold. I think I have one in stock. I will check when I open shop tomorrow. I could ship one via UPS if you like. It costs you $48.75 plus freight. Let me know.
Your description sounds right to me. There's a pic, and some summary specs of it in the link that I provided above. Can you tell me a little more about the unit you're suggesting?
