I have a '93 4x4. I replaced the ball joints last year, and I tried to correct a sagging front end by rotating the camber adjustment sleeve while I had it all apart. I went a bit too far, and now I've got way too much positive camber.
Can I get to camber adjustment sleeve without taking the whole thing apart again? I read in my manual that I just need to take the nut off the top ball joint and remove/adjust it that way. Seems to easy to me.
If you have sag replace the springs. The alignment will be way out after that. Allot more positive camber. Talk to a spring shop near you before you do anything. Have them inspect your truck. There may be other stuff amiss that will affect the alignment. Rear springs too. They can steer you in the right direction. Also ask them for a recommendation on a alignment or frame and axle shop. I replaced all the springs and such on the 97 and I wish I had asked the spring shop more questions before I started. Worked out great but getting a good alignment was a PITA.
