If you think it may be the distributor and you do not want to buy a new one you could always change the PIP sensor in it to put your mind at rest.

Well i will buy a new one, if that's the problem. I just dont want to order one and get it and not be the problem, that's what i trying to figure out. it seems to me that's what it is. i have thought about the module but the only problems i have had with those is when they get hot they shut the motor down for about 10 min and start right back up and run for a few miles and then shut off. It could be the module. That's what i don't know, i am try to see if anyone has had this problem, it's got everyone bugged.
