3) Is there anything about them you don't like? What and why?
4) This is related to #2, but would you purchase them again for another truck?
Pete,

I've been thinking of getting these for several years, but put it off because I did not want to hear the ***** rolling around inside there when going slower than 20 mph or so. After installing them, if you know what you're listening for, you can almost, kind of hear something, just maybe under the right conditions (back country road traveling down through a low section with heavy trees on both sides). If I wasn't trying to hear something, I never would have noticed it. I had my wife stand at the end of the driveway and I repeatedly drove by her to see if she could hear them. Tried at speeds ranging from 5 mph to 35 mph. This was on a country road where my truck was the only moving vehicle visible. She couldn't hear anything.

To answer your questions;
1)Yes, they come 4 in a box for the price, so I stuck them on all 4 corners.
2)Probably so. To soon for a definitive answer, but my reasoning was the country roads bit. I never drive anywhere without gravel stuck in at least a few places in my tread. I always used to pick the gravel out of the tires in the parking lot before getting the tires rotated/balanced because the fools at the tire store would just balance them with the rocks in place. When I cleaned them up and drove home, there was gravel in the treads again.
3)I was a little worried at first they might interfere with how well the lug nuts stayed torqued, but that has not been an issue. No negatives I've found yet.
4)I've already been informed by the boss that I am to purchase another set for her truck. We're still arguing about that one a bit. They make these things 15 miles from our house. I keep telling her to just go up there and pick her up a set. Something tells me I'll be the one that ends up making the trip again.

Thanks for the details, Chris. Sounds like you definitely have more need for them than I do, even though the concept fascinates me.

You know, Chris, you might as well just buck up and get some for her. By the way... don't forget to plan on having them powder-coated in pink, too.

Don't think they can do that. We checked into powdercoating shocks, and something about enclosed fluids and high heat don't mix. Since I got to tour corporate HQ while I asked about this stuff, there's a certain viscocity of fluid that the beads ride in to make things work right. Don't want to boil any of that stuff out trying to cure the powdercoat. We've already had this discussion if you can't tell. It's tough for me to get off work in time to get there before 5, but I'm guessing you're right. I'll end up having to go there myself.

Ran the dust shields on my F150 for 14 years. It still Had the original rotors when i sold it a couple year ago. 140k miles on it. Never had any issues with the shields except i didn't have dust. I never heard any noise from them but i could see how you could because i had dually inserts in my Motorhome and they would "click" So i would imagine that dust inserts also could/may cause this. I hope not.

I have a list of items that i want to get for the truck.
Next is a Pass Thru Muffler from Summit. With no muffler it isn't loud enough to complain about but i just want to hear it with the summit muffler.
After that is, Dust shields.
