The compressor clutch just gets a single wire which is tied to a high pressure limit sensor in the refrigerant line.
You also *might* have a throttle positioner to step up the idle when the AC is running.
There are two versions of the blower wiring shown here;. Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning - ???Gary's Garagemahal
You can see that with AC there are three wires lb/o, r/o, & o/b to the blower resistor.
I'm not sure why the fuse melted, but that is usually due to corroded contacts not too much current being drawn.

Thank you ArdWrknTrk and thank you NumberDummy . I'm gonna look at that little later . I'm not good with wire diagrams but I'm gonna see what I can learn .. I have been clueless as to it all but yaw have help me a by chance and I thank yaw.😃 Hopefully I'll get it fixed now .. yaw have a blessed day and besafe.. Happy Easter to yaw if I don't get a chance to get back on before then.
