My CEL went away, problem fixed?
As stated in a previous post, my '06 triggered a CEL pulling the boat the on Thursday. Code was P0261, possibly a FICM problem. I set up a service appt for Wednesday. Tonight the CEL has disappeared. It has been maybe a dozen or so start/stop cycles since the code began. Does the truck eventually stop displaying the CEL even though the problem still exists or has the problem gone away? Am I wasting my time keeping my service appt?
