I have an 01 f25o super duty v8 5.4lt. when i come to a slow stop at a light or a stop sign, i feel a thud, and i also feel it on accel. from a stop. its only when i stop and go. it feels like the problem is in my trans b/c i feel it in my feet. all other gears shift fine....any suggestions on what it may be?? thank you

yea, the slip yoke is the usual suspect for a slight "thud" from start and stoping..
the grease dries out in there...
if there is no other vibration after that initial thud then i would strongly suspect thats ur issue...

so ur saying if i take my grease gun and grease the yoke where it connects to the driveshaft on the back of the trans my prob may go away??? now it doesn't always do it as hard as some times. one day it may do the thud lightly but like the other day i really noticed it but today not so much..but i still feel it no matter wut.
