Hesitation from stop
I have a hesitation from a stop with my 2000 3.0L 4x4 ranger. This is not an engine performance but feels like a tranny issue. When I press down on the gas pedel the truck starts to move and I can feel a little bump/hesitation before the truck gets going.
Also when I am coming to a stop...I get the same feeling just before full stop (maybe @ 1-2 MPH)
Any ideas?

Do a search on bump/thump or slip yoke, this is a common problem and there are posts about this. It is also covered in a TSB, the original one had you lubricate the slip yoke, the newest one has a new driveshaft installed. Many people have had good luck with the lub.
