Grinding Right Before Stop

How to explain this?

I have something grinding when I come to a stop in my 05 F250 FX4 6 liter.

It only does it right before a stop. When I'm going say around five MPH it will make a grinding noise for a second or two then stop. It stops grinding before I am completely stopped. So hit five MPH, grind for a second or two, stop grinding while I complete stopping.

You know how the truck kind of revs up for a second right before stopping. That's when it does it. And only then.

I never hear or feel anything any other time. I can hit the brakes hard at 50 MPH and nothing. Only right before I stop.

Any ideas?

That reminds me...

I've had the ABS light coming and going recently. AE shows left rear sensor code. Could this have anything to do with it?

take a flashlight and crawl under the truck and look between the guard and the calliper at the rotor. I don't know why they do this but most of the time it is the inner pad that is worn off.

I will look once it stops raining here.

Just curious though...if one of the rear calipers is sticking then why would it only grind for that very short period of time?
