06 Super Duty Mirrors
Alright,
I did the stupid. Wasn't looking when I backed out tonight and decided to test the resolve of the tree in the driveway. Tree - 1, Passenger Mirror - 0.
I thought I might have lucked out and "popped" the mirror body and it would "pop" back in place. Nope. Had to go all out and trashed the LED's on the side. So, since the only real problem is the Reflector assy, any suggestions? The mirror body and the mirrors themselves are fine with the exception of the scratches on the side of the plastic under and to the outside of the LED's and the busted reflector. Can I replace just the LED's and the reflector, or will the whole mirror assy need to r&r'd? If so on either case, ideas for locating thier replacement? Anyone got a trashed mirror assy with a good LED package? Also, how do I r&r the mirror? Or r&r just the LED and reflector package?

I am going to assume you have the extendable trailer tow mirrors. You can't just buy the replacement lense with LED's from Ford, they only sell the whole back piece of the mirror including the reflector with LED's.
You can buy a Recon replacement lense in amber, clear, or smoked but they are sold in pairs. I still have one that is fine, but I can't remember if it is the passenger or driver side lense. I replaced mine with smoked Recon lenses. Might also be someone here who has upgraded to recon and has one left over on the passenger side or you might find one on ebay if you want to stick with stock.
