Question I need the rear window down

1992 Bronco. With the dash switch and tailgate key, I can drop the rear window 6". I'm taking the top off soon, and need it down all the way. How do I get into it to see what's stopping it? The previous owner installed some tint, which could be causing friction.

Is there an easy way to get into the tailgate without having it open, I'd just take the glass out if I can't get it to lower all the way.

there is a panel in the rear door that you take off and can access the motor and the window gears to drop your window. if you want to just drop it and the window motor is working you can use a jumper wire to engage the motor..if it is weak, have a friend press down on the window while you press the switch up front, I had to do this in more than one of my broncos as those motors lose thier grunt quite commonly
