If u dont have a turbo injectors wont help much. Just dumping raw fuel out the exhaust.

stuntman88,
Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.

If you get any black smoke out of the exhaust, you already have more fuel than you can burn with the amount of air in the engine.
More power would mean you need more air in the cylinders to burn the fuel.

As for the brakes are you loosing any fluid?
Did you change any of the rubber brake hoses?

mush means air in the lines somewhere. Take a look at your brake fluid and see if its down any.

the hoses werent collapsed and i wasnt really losing fluid but i did find a pin hole not enugh to dumo fluid but enough to were i had no brake pressure and im looking into getting a turbo and wanted to upgrade the injectors also that why i was asking i probably should have stated that before hand my bad and yes i have a lil coal blowing out the exhaust right now i cranked the injector pump a lil less than a quarter turn with the ease of doing that im very pleased witht he result lil but more power and a good smoke when i punch it so im satisfied

With a turbo you could turn all that black smoke into power.

Once you have any black smoke, you need more air before you will see any more increase in power.

In fact if the smoke is black enough, less fuel may give you more power.

1/4 turn = 1.5 flats
That is a lot of fuel for a NA motor.
