I`d save some by shopping around for materials, a friend and I could put it up for a lot less as well. So far he`s priced a 32 X 40 for about $7-8,000 with me doing the leveling, digging holes for the poles and giving him a hand.

Thats pretty good.

I think the package i was looking at was around the 14 grand mark for a 40x60 with 16 foot high walls, and an overhead door. Like you Im doing the leveling.
Now that same package with them installing it, the price was 26 grand.

I have a buddy that can do it for pretty cheap too, so i might actually get him to do the whole thing. He would take longer then the 2 days it takes a place like warman homes to get it up, but it would be alot cheaper too.

Your dad did an excellent job Ryan.

If I had more ambition I would attempt that too, but when it comes time to build mine, its gonna be a sooner then later type deal.

Lots of work to be done, I never realized there would be so much!

Just installed the ceramic tile last week, and got the outside geo thermal work all done.

Lots to do before winter yet, and its keeping us super busy. Probably wont have a house warming till next year though.
