No I didn't. It seems to run like it should however. It's been a matter of not taking the time to take my truck down to the Ford place and have them do it. Is it PCM or PSOM?
By the way, before you say "It's easy! You can do it." and send me a link, forget it. I read it half a dozen times and I can already tell you it's best I don't even try.
na man it is real easy. the hard part is the math and that isnt even difficult. takes 5 minutes tops. search on fullsize bronco dot com for steve83s article (it wont let me link to there).

It is easy to program the PSOM . Here is a link from this site:
Thanks guys. I'll get it done eventually. That and I want to paint what I can on my frame with Chasis Saver. I don't care about the PSOM right now. The most my truck does is bogs down but I don't care. I give it fuel untill it either downshifts or comes out of the bog. The 300 isn't fast and changing the PSOM isn't going to change that. My speedomotere isn't as far off as you would think, too. I think the tire change in addition to the gear ratio brought it back to normal.

I have a manual transmission-and I also went from 27 inch to 31 inch tires and reprogramming the PSOM does make a difference in throttle response and MPG. It is easy to do . I used a jumper cable to get ground to the lead under the glove box door. It takes 5 minutes to do at most.
And gear changes will not change the PSOM programming. Only tire heights effect the PSOM and requires that it be reprogrammed.
Making sure that the PSOM is programmed correctly has as much positive effect on these engines as does a new oxygen sensor if the existing sensor has more than 60k miles on it.

10-4. I'll get it done eventually. I might look into it this weekend but I know I don't have the time.
