Power Steering Fluid Change

Is there an easy way to drain the Auto Trans Fluid out of the system. Or do you just disconnect the lines let it drain, reconnect and then refill?

So what do you use all the fluid for? Takes around 6 to drain and fill the tranny, and 4 or so to flush the power steering.

6 for the trans. 2 for the xfer case. 3 for the PS. Uh... that gets me to 11... I guess I just buy extra! I've changed the trans, xfer case, and PS ATF 4 times now.

I don't have a transfer case, so I didn't think about that. I've changed my fluids a few times myself. Gonna have to do it again in another 9k miles.

Me too! I'm at about 240,000 now. Come to think of it, I'm about ready for another.... uh ... 18 quarts of ATF

Just did the PS flush. I am amazed at the difference. Wish I had done it sooner. Recommended for all.
