I don't think we had one of those on hand either Chase but good to know for future reference.
Ed, yep it all fit. I need to find a different zerc this week though. Are you able to pass along to anybody that the zerc they supply is not right?
12" IIRC, the 10" wouldn't open wide enough. It was "toight like a toiger" to quote Goldmember but it got the job done.
I think its hit and miss on the grease zerk. Mine clears, but just barely. I mean like 1/8" or less!
I think I might make of a kit with orings and seals, and inclued a different zert, let me know what angle zerc/zert (how is that spelled) and i'll make a kit and list it in my special section.
You should make a kit with those seals and offer them without the ball joints as well. You can call it the ESOF repair kit or something similar to that. Just make the kit for 1 side and include:
F81Z-4A322-AA (yellow o-ring)
F81Z-3254-CB (knuckle seal/axle seal)
4C3Z-1K106-AA (includes 2 hub o-rings so you can use 1 for both sides)
I cant remember exactly but F81Z-1S175-HCA(dust seal) might be needed as well. It might make it easier for people with ESOF problems to order it all at once rather than try to hunt each individual part down separately. For those people doing ball joints just have an option or something to add the ball joints to that kit.

That's the one on the axle shaft, and yes you need it most times.
This ESOF repair kit is a great idea, I would go so far as to offer the kit for one side or both, and also offer the ball joint kit for one side or both if it were me (hint hint Ed )
Well a few of us AR chapter members are going to tackle ball joints on my truck and I was told to get the greasable ball joints from Autozone. Both upper and lowers were around 150.00 I forget the exact amount, but if you want to part numbers, I can provide.
