Ball Joints

Has anybody seen some heavy duty Ball joints, or know where I can get some inexpensive ones.....is it possible to "press" the joint out or better to replace the whole control arm????This is for the top by the way.....

look into the Moog ball joints.

they seem to be the most prevalent and favorite for our trucks...plus they are greasable.

1 of the ball joints is replaceable...the other must be done as an entire assembly. Sorry, but I cannot remember if it's the lower or upper that is swapable

sorry man, don't know the part #'s

just make sure anything you buy is listed for a 2006-2008 truck. since you have a 2004, you might accidently get the old body style 2004 parts

I think that Advance Auto Parts handles Moog front end parts now. You might log on to their web site to check out part numbers and prices. Moog is the way I would go on ball joints. Been using the brand for years without a complaint.

The Moog upper ball joint assemblies are: K80306(left) and K80308(right). The lower replacement ball joint is a K80149.
