ATF change intervals
Your owners manual should have the info in it. I don't know what the interval should be, but I once changed fluid in a truck that had 170,000 miles on the original fluid. I know the pan had never been dropped on the truck.

No. The only synthetic that would consider is Amsoil. I have 12 years on various vechiles with Amsoil now, and would not use anything else. Of course you need to 'make sure' to use the proper ATF type {Amsoil makes several version for specific vechiles}.
