Oil Change Intervals

What are your opinions on oil change intervals for these trucks?

The owners says 7500 miles normal driving and 5000 miles severe driving, or six months, I usually change mine at on the 5000 mile requirement if I drive that much but in the last year I have been on six month change intervals on both my truck and motorhome.
