I recently bought an 04 f350 and while doing some maintenance, I noticed that the dust shields (backing plates) on the front brakes have a scoop built into them to direct air to the rotor.
Does anyone know if this is a stock part? or an aftermarket item.
One other question how can I comfirm this truck has the camper package? I've searched and cannot find what I am looking for. The springs listed on the door sticker are ZY code. I can't find these listed.
Thanks for the response. The camper sert would be glued in the glovebox? My truck has the overload springs and the sway bar, is there any other items, like additional oil cooler?
My 05 excursion doesn't have the backing plate with the air scoop, is this just an f250/350 item?
thanks
Richard
