I'm not sure where that one lives. You having issues with it? Quite honestly, it's not much more than a warning light - I say this because I have an aftermarket one and it's 1000x's more accurate.

Very true- by the time any problem is indicated on the factory gauge it's already too late.
Yes I know it will be to late but I like to have everything working on my truck. When I turn my truck on from being cold the temp gauge jumps to normal temp range on the gauge. Im guessing that would be a bad sensor???

Hard to say, you would have to pull some codes and run a few tests... The factory gauge is junk anyway.

If you're talking about the stock gauge, and it's over 50F outside, that's how it works. The gauge will read in the middle of normal anytime the trans temp is between 50F and 230F. That's the way the gauge works, a new sensor won't change it.
