Where to install Transmission Temp Sensor for E40D

Hi,
I just purchased an 1997 E350 with an E40D (Code E) for towing. Where is the best or easiest place to install a transmission temp sensor?

Is there such thing as an in-line temp sensor that can be installed in the transmission fluid lines between the transmission and the cooler? That way I can install two and get the reading for both the temperatures going in and coming out of the cooler.

Thank you!
Edmund.

you'll have to get a brass T (1 end must be threaded) and some adapter fittings, i put mine at the trans PSI outflow line on the side of the trans. so the reading is instatanious.
