C6 tranny, automatic
Just wondering, does the automatic C6 tranny for an 85 ford f150 have only three shifts to it, or does it have an overdrive? I just bought it recently, my first truck. Feels like mine is only shifting three times. It runs at around 2200-2300 RPM's going 60 MPH and around 2500 RPM's at 65 MPH. It has a 351W and I have no clue what ratio rear end. The certification label shows "14", don't know for sure what this tells me. Basically I'm wondering if this is normal or do I need to change the tranny filter, or could it be the vacuum modulator doing this? Any help would be appreciated
