I have been getting a "stumbling" of the engine after passing or doing a WOT run for testing. After doing so, the accelerator becomes unresponsive for a short bit and then comes back up with a lot of crackle. I had the code checked today and he said it was a P1247, Low Boost. The scanner also showed zero for the boost frequency, though it did show a boost psi value. He swapped out the MAP sensor and it continued to show the same ing. Any ideas as to what to check? I scheduled to take it in Thursday to have the electrics checked out since he believes that is where the problem is.
Forgo to mention, no SES light when this happens.

Have to wonder if the 1247 code is an old code that didn't get cleared at some time. I would expect an SES light if the 1247 was set. Just thinking out loud.
Fuel filter was changed 5,000 miles ago when the engine was put back in. While testing, I did WOT on interstate and got over 15 lbs of boost on the gauge.
One of my concerns is the reading of 0 hertz on the boost on the scan unit (it is a Snap-on) and whether or not or trucks actually use that. I am afraid the mechanic may go down the wrong path chasing something that doesn't exist.

Find out if that Snap-on will read manifold absolute pressure and/or manifold gauge pressure. I know my AE does. The absolute pressure is the ambient air pressure plus boost pressure and the guage pressure is the boost pressure minus the ambient air pressure, or what a boost gauge would read or at least very close.
Update: After installing the HPX, I have tried numerous time to get this to happen again without being able to. I tried numerous times yesterday and it would not stumble. I changed the fuel filter today just to be sure. It looked a little dirty but then I have just started putting in some B-5 and I here that could loosen up some dirt. BTW, I was not running B-5 when this started and just switching to it did not cure it. Any ideas? I will keep trying just to be sure it doesn't come back.
