Have been thinking max boost was low. Combine that with exhaust smell passenger side of the engine and I'm doing a little accessment to figure this out.
Went on a WOT test run to see what's going on with boost numbers. Wide open, the highest boost I got was 24.88. The gauge at WOT would show something in the 20's then flash to a negative number then back to positive, then negative. The negatice numvers typically were in the -11 range.
The run was on flat pavement with the truck empty so I know the load was not very high.
What I don't know is, is this normal behavior and if not what is is telling me?
What year model? Do you happen to know if it's been flashed since new and when? Any mods? I have never watched mine for max boost (I could do it tomorrow though) I've never caught mine showing a negative number.
2006 F-250 Lariat CC LB just under 158 on the clock. Stock as far as I know, unsure about flashes (new to. E, owned it all of 3 weeks). Just working through the usual suspect maitenance and minor upgrades - so far just oil change and egr cleaned.
Sorry about leaving the year/model off, need to get a signature going!
Thanks for the info. When I originally programmed, the document I was referencing didn't go all the way to the 13.1 reading I had so I did not customize the MTH.
