when leaving lights or stop signs makeing left hand turns grinding and clunking noise coming from front end. can feel it in steering wheel and passenger floor board. just replaced right front bearing but still makes noise. does anybody have had this problem, thanks
Lock the hubs and try it again. If the noise quits, it may be the needle bearing.
it still makes noise with hubs locked, it almost sounds like tire rubbing but there are no marks on tire or anyware else on truck. truck has 120,000 miles. have had nothing but the passenger side bearings replaced on it. makes no noise going straight or right hand turns.
only time i've had clunking, is when lug nuts were not on tight. Is the clunking once, or multiple like lug nuts? If it's once, i bet U-joints. maybe the rubbing is s separate issue.

i get clunking and rubbing/grinding noise through out the turn. Does it even when not making sharp turns.
I'd jack up the front side that is clunking, use jackstands, get under there and rock tire back and forth, and see if the u-joint has slip in it, or see if anything else seems bad. heck man, if it wasn't you that put on the wheel, check the lug nuts too.
I just had one of my 2wd F350 duallys' rebuilt and I have the same grinding noise on the right front - kinda sounds like a tire rubbing when I turn to the right, no matter how sharp or dull. I have been baffled by this for almost a year and several thousand miles. Have been pulling horses and everything else and I have had no problems but something is not right! If you find something out I would be anxious to know.
