Replacement batt cables

I have an 01 F350 with 2 batt system. The cables are swelling behind the clamps, I'm getting ready to replace the batteries

Can anyone recommend an aftermarket source for the cables. I would rather not pay Ford for their nameplate !!

thank in advance...

I had to replace the hot lead on my 02 f-350 last winter due to some kind of malfunction that burned up the end that goes on the starter, I bot it from ford and it was only 88 bucks, this was far less than i though it would be. Have you priced out the cable you need with one of the FTE sponsers?

I would check you're local commercial battery suppler. The type of place that caters to truckers. They will have the ability to build a set of cables to fit your truck. I would go for the heaviest wire that will fit you truck. If you were to remove your cables and take them with you, it make the process easier. Make sure that the posts and cables are shiny clean, put a battery grease inside the terminals and reconnect. The grease will seal out the corrosion.
