surging when started cold
Truck not mine but helping
97 PSD Auto, no mods. Sometimes when the truck is started cold (and it does not get too cold here in Kentucky, just refering to a cold motor) it will surge, sound like a cammed up gas motor. press fuel peddal down and hold for several seconds, let off and idle fine then. no CEL or other issues.
Where should we start looking first? both CPS and fuel pump have been replaced in last 10K miles.
