Hi guys i have lots of questions but ill start with this, im a new diesel owner i bought a 06 F250 6.0 with 45,000 miles and lots of upgrades i think the factory fuel system was replaced it now has a fuel regulator under the hood and a fuel pressure gauge in the cab.My question is how high can the fuel pressure be without hurting the engine?

It should stay under 70psi to be safe, higher and you chance damaging injector o-rings.

Thank you.I have a few more questions, what is the standard psi?Heres a good one,i found a "****"in one of the glove boxes when you turn it on i get a crap load of power only for few seconds then it starts breaking up and im guessing it needs more fuel.I tried to trace the wire but haven't found the end yet it goes under the battery and intake any idea?

I believe the standard is 45. Not positive on that though. Did he give you a list of all the upgrades? This would help us decipher what has been done to it. Never heard of a switch, I would be carefull with it though.

Unfortunately no list of upgrades but i can tell u what i see, custom 4 inch exhaust, intake, fuel regulator, monster fuel pump sounds like a jet engine, maybe bigger turbo?the "****"?I think thats it i also think the EGR is gone? When i really get on it it blows zero smoke out the exhaust but has plenty of power and like i said when you turn the "****" it has a lot of power but not long, lack of fuel?I just dont know a lot about diesels YET want to learn.
