How hard would it be to install mounting studs? Would it be just as simple is getting them from Ford and bolting them in, or is there some drilling involved?
I've done these kinds of swaps before, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into before I go and buy a $150 front split bench.
I installed a 40/20/40 bench to replace my beat-up 1-piece bench.
As mentioned, some studs are not present. But the holes are there, just pop out the plugs. I didn't bother installing studs; I just used Gr-8 bolts and nuts.
